  • Students can work full-time during the summer months of June, July, and August.

These changes will apply to all students who are granted or have already been granted part-time work permits. The Denmark Immigration Services announced these changes on 1 July on their official website.

Why are so many Immigration Rules Changed?

The Danish government has recently made many immigration rules changes such as:

Denmark wants to streamline its immigration policies so that it can have skilled and highly qualified foreigners for its labor market. Like many other countries in the region, Denmark also needs such people who can help it uplift its economy in the coming years.

The greatest source of this is the international students. They study at their own expense, then after completing their higher education, they apply for the job search residence permit which later helps them settle in this country. In this way, Denmark gets highly qualified workers who are taught by its high-class universities and they are also more integrated in the society.
