Italy Ministry of Interior opens today the online website portal to submit the final applications for non-seasonal visas under the Decreto Flussi 2024 program. Starting today 18 March 2024, the Nulla Osta applications can be submitted at the following website:

The Click Day will help the Italian Ministry of Interior to receive final applications from the non-seasonal workers. Once their applications are approved, they will be provided with the confirmation of Nulla Osta (work permit) to apply for a work visa in their home country.
The official dates for application submission under the Decreto Flussi 2024 for seasonal, non-seasonal, and self-employment visas are as under:
- from 9:00 on 18 March 2024, applications for non-seasonal subordinate workers who are citizens of countries that have cooperation agreements with Italy can be submitted;
- from 9:00 on 21 March 2024, applications for other non-seasonal subordinate workers (including in the family and social and healthcare sectors) can be submitted;
- from 9:00 on 25 March 2024, applications for seasonal workers can be submitted.
The applications can be submitted till 31 December 2024.
The applications can be submitted for non-seasonal visas by the employers using the SPID. This is the access system that allows you to use the online services of the Public Administration and accredited private individuals with a unique digital identity. If you already have a digital identity, log in with your manager’s credentials. If you don’t have a digital identity yet, request it from one of the sponsors.
To get SPID, choose one of the Identity Providers and register on their site. The registration consists of 3 steps:
- Enter your data,
- Create your SPID credentials,
- Carry out the recognition of your choice between: in-person, online, or via CIE, CNS, or digital signature.
The timing of issuing digital identity depends on individual Identity Providers. You can apply for SPID here.
The Italian government has already announced the total quota for 2024 which has been set as 151,000. For the category of non-seasonal visas, 61,950 have been assigned. 700 quota is for self-employment persons. For the seasonal visa, an 89,000 quota has been reserved.
Distribution of Nonseasonal Work
The distribution of quota for Nonseasonal has been divided into employment with employer and self-employment which is as follows:
i- Employment: 61,250
- Workers of Italian origin residing in Venezuela: 90 entries
- Stateless persons and refugees: 180 entries
- Citizens of states running campaigns against irregular migration trafficking: 2,380 entries
- Citizens of countries with current immigration agreements: 25,000 entries
- Workers in the family and socio-healthcare sector: 9,500 entries
- Citizens of countries with future immigration agreements: 20,000 entries
- Conversion of other residence permits into permits for employment: 4,100 conversions.
Decreto Flussi 2024 Eligible Country’s List
For the entry of workers for seasonal and non-seasonal subordinate work, the countries that have signed cooperation agreements or understandings on migration matters already in force are:
Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Philippines, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Japan, Jordan, Guatemala, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Republic of North Macedonia, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Ukraine.
Italy will give 10,000 extra work visas under the Decreto Flussi 2024 program to Indians starting from 1 April 2024. There will be 6,000 work visas under nonseasonal whereas 4,000 are seasonal categories.
