Decreto Flussi 2027 Clickdays: Dates, Times & How to Apply

Decreto Flussi 2027 Clickdays will begin on 12 January 2027, followed by three further application openings in February, giving employers in Italy four separate dates to submit requests for foreign workers in different employment categories.

This means that each clickday opens at 9:00 a.m. Italian time, so employers and prospective workers should first identify the correct date for their type of employment.

For someone hoping to work in Italy, these dates mark an important stage in the process, although the initial employment application normally comes from an Italian employer who is offering a qualifying job. The employer requests permission to recruit the worker, while the workerโ€™s visa application follows later if the necessary authorisation is granted.

Official Clickday Dates

The government has confirmed the following schedule for the Decreto Flussi 2027:

ClickdayEmployment categoryApplication formOpening time
12 January 2027Seasonal agricultureC-Stag agricolo9:00 a.m.
9 February 2027Seasonal tourism and hospitalityC-Stag turistico9:00 a.m.
16 February 2027Non-seasonal employment in permitted sectorsB20209:00 a.m.
18 February 2027Family assistanceA-bis in quota9:00 a.m.

All times are Italian local time. These four openings concern the specified employment routes; the separate self-employment allocation should not be treated as another category using the same clickday procedure.

How Clickdays Work

A clickday is the opening of the submission window for a particular category, when employers can send applications they have prepared beforehand through the Ministry of the Interiorโ€™s ALI portal.

Submission timing matters because applications are generally considered in chronological order within the applicable quota arrangements, although submitting early does not remove the need to meet the employment and immigration requirements. Available places also depend on the relevant category and territorial allocation, so the national quota cannot be treated as a single pool available equally to every employer.

Preparing Your Application

Employers should use the official ALI portal, sign in with SPID or CIE, and open the Decreto Flussi application section under Sportello Unico Immigrazione.

After selecting the correct form, they complete the preliminary employer checks and enter the activation code sent to the registered PEC, Italyโ€™s certified email system. Some information is retrieved automatically from government databases, while other fields require manual completion.

Before the clickday, the employer should save the completed form and confirm that it shows โ€œDA INVIAREโ€, meaning it is ready to send. A form still marked โ€œDA COMPLETAREโ€ needs further completion. Preparing and saving a form does not transmit it to the authorities; submission is a separate action on or after the relevant opening.

Missing The Clickday

Missing the opening day does not automatically end the opportunity to apply. The ALI portal states that employers can create and submit new applications from the day after each categoryโ€™s clickday, with submissions continuing until 31 December 2027, subject to available quotas.

This gives employers a later opportunity, although they should check whether places remain in the relevant category before relying on the year-end deadline.

After You Submit

The authorities assess the application and, if approved, issue the nulla osta, or work authorisation. The worker then proceeds with the appropriate visa application through the responsible Italian embassy or consulate, followed by the required residence formalities after arrival.

The October circular also highlights two deadlines: employers must reconfirm the authorisation request within 15 days of notification that visa checks have concluded, and the residence contract must be signed and transmitted within 15 days of the workerโ€™s entry.

Other Important Dates

Preparation begins several months before the first clickday:

StageDate and time
Pre-filling opens23 October 2026, 9:00 a.m.
Initial pre-filling closes7 December 2026, 8:00 p.m.
Limited reopening9 December, 9:00 a.m., to 13 December 2026, 8:00 p.m.
Final submission deadline31 December 2027, subject to quotas

The December reopening allows employers to finish, correct and save existing applications, including those awaiting automatically retrieved information; it does not allow new applications to be started during that window.

Quotas At Glance

Decreto Flussi is Italyโ€™s quota system for admitting non-EU nationals for specified work categories. The 2027 total is 165,850 authorised entries, divided as follows:

Category2027 Quota
Seasonal employment89,000
Non-seasonal employment76,200
Self-employment650
Total165,850

The non-seasonal figure includes 14,000 family-assistance places. These are entry ceilings rather than advertised vacancies or visas already issued.

Eligible Countries

The decree names the following countries for its relevant cooperation-country routes:

Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cรดte dโ€™Ivoire, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Japan, Jordan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Kenya is additionally included from 2027, following its migration and mobility agreement with Italy. Nationality conditions vary between routes, so this list should not be applied as a universal restriction covering every category.

For workers and employers preparing for the Decreto Flussi 2027 Clickdays, the practical priority is to agree on the correct employment route, complete the application in advance and make sure it is ready for submission when that category opens.
